The word "Situs" means a follower or being in the
shadow of another. These are words that describe Dafyar Pelangiqq, in his
direct style, as a Situs Daftar Situs PelangiQQ. He is the third person Situs
PelangiQQ, a self-published author, whose writings have been translated into
various languages.
daftar pelangiqq writes primarily in two forms: the Situs
PelangiQQ and the Situs Daftar. With respect to writing, he writes from
personal experience and from his own observations of the events and people in
various parts of Malaysia. In the Situs PelangiQQ form, he mainly writes from
his experiences and views as a Malay man living in the slums of Kuala Lumpur,
such as the Pauktaka Road. This form of writing is very personal, but it
contains strong criticisms of the Malay race, its leaders, its society and all
other people with whom he comes in contact.
In the Situs Daftar form, Ddaftar pelangiqq commentary on the
happenings and events of Malaysia is mainly based on arguments made by him in
his books. The Situs Daftar form may contain some violent, racist, vulgar or
foul language.
The combination of Situs PelangiQQ and Situs Daftar gives rise
to one more Situs, the Situs PelangiQQ. Here is where Dafyar Pelangiqq's
methods to get different, as he also tries to write from his own experiences,
and nothing less than what is best for the Malays and all people in general.
Dafyar Pelangiqq has a flair for writing and this is not seen in
the Situs PelangiQQ form. On the contrary, his Situs Daftar form is filled with
grammatical and semantic errors and it is very hard to understand what he is
trying to say in it.
In terms of writing, this book is a good start. I was impressed
with the fact that Dafyar Pelangiqq did not use the traditional
"friend" of Malay writers, which he uses in the Situs PelangiQQ form.
Instead, he makes readers to read the entire text aloud in order to be able to
understand what he is trying to say. Another aspect that surprised me about
this book is that there is no footnote or byline in it.
This book contains some historical information, some stories,
and some photos and these make it a good addition to anyone's library. However,
to any reader, whether he is a Malay or not, the book will simply be a
collection of words on the wonders of Malaysia and things in general.
This is one of the many Situs Melayuas written by Dafyar
Pelangiqq. Like all Melayuas, this one too contains some offensive, vulgar and
racial remarks.
